Team Manager is Rangsi Judee, Current head of the
Thailand Power Boat Association.
Team Singha / Amazing Thailand has been assembled by the
guile and tenacity of Thanavud Bhirombhakdi.
Himself a former driver, Thanavud took over the family business in 1998.
Today the company specialises in 'classic vessel' restoration, however,
the love of racing instilled in him by his father ( and TPBA president Vudha Bhirombhakd,) still dwells and the ultimate goal remains; Organising an F1 Superboat race in Pattaya in early 2009.
"I'll be an organiser - not a racer - this time. I hope I can make it happen. To see a boat the size of a car pass by at 140 miles an hour is amazing. "
The Thai team will compete over 11 legs of this seasons Champboat series, hoping, not only for success but also, to create a bit of a buzz back in Thailand.
